TRAINING INFORMATION
On this page, you can get to know me, Cord Elsner, the head trainer of this school. I’ll introduce you to my team and explain what we train, how we train, and when we train.
I’ll also cover topics such as training for children and whether there is really an age limit for Wing Chun.
Additionally, I’ll show you what kind of equipment you need for effective training—not only to protect yourself but also to prevent injuries to others.
Enjoy exploring,
Cord Elsner

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU NEED FOR TRAINING?
Just as you wouldn’t play tennis with your bare hands instead of a racket, martial arts also require certain equipment. On the one hand, to protect yourself, and on the other, to safeguard your partner. Here, I explain the essential gear for Wing Chun to ensure effective and safe training.

HOW AND WHAT DO WE TRAIN, AND WHY?
To become capable of self-defense, we train in a variety of areas. Our fitness regimen includes bodyweight exercises, cardio, and other routines to make you strong and fit.
We also focus on coordination training, power development, forms, Chi Sao, Lat Sao, self-defense techniques, and much more. Read more about our approach here.

TRAINING FOR CHILDREN – AT WHAT AGE SHOULD CHILDREN START WING CHUN?
Is Wing Chun appropriate for children? What aspects of martial arts training can help children develop positively, and what elements might actually be counterproductive for them? As a father and martial arts enthusiast myself, I understand these concerns. Would I want my own children to train in Wing Chun, or would I recommend something else? Find out here.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT IN WING CHUN?
"I’m 100 years old—am I too old for Wing Chun?" This is a common question. Many people want to train in martial arts but worry about age limitations. Ultimately, age is just a number. The real limit is determined by one’s mindset, willpower, strength, and physical condition. Muscles can be strengthened, and much can be regained over time. Learn more here.
